IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
- Inspire children ages 2-11 in weekly dance classes of various genres.
- Teach inside a growing curriculum that emphasizes safe technique, body positivity, age appropriate content, and the joy of dancing!
- Communicate with educational, creative and administrative team members via google workspace and Trello. .
- Create routines as needed for performance events (Semi-Annual Nutcracker, Spring Recitals, Showcases, community events) and provide support for students at these performances.
- Attend bi-annual full team trainings and pre-performance production meetings.

- A strong work ethic and a drive to be prepared for class. You feel that preparation opens the door to student success.
- A passion for bringing out the best in every single student. You view each student as a unique aspiring artist, and value the importance of getting to know each one.
- The confidence and initiative to communicate with creative, educational and administrative team members. (Keeping the whole Team on the same page is the key to our success!) You always come to the table with a solution-oriented mindset.
THE ESSENTIALS:
- A well rounded dance education, with particular confidence in at least two of the following: Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Acrobatics and/or Irish Step
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching dance OR Minimum 2 years teaching in an academic setting.
- Current driver's license and consistent access to a vehicle
- Willingness to submit to a CORI/SORI
- Availability: 1-3 afternoon/evenings between Monday and Friday.
WORKING WITH US:
- We provide full training.
- All production materials and costs are covered by NSSPA
- Admin manages all enrollment, accounts and marketing.
- Bi-weekly pay period.
- Potential for part time administrative positions.
PAYMENT:
$18.00 - $30.00, based on experience and education.
START DATE:
